What Is Wittfest, What Can You Expect?
Wittfest is A Charity Music Festival where you can find Good Company, Good local Beers, A very Laid Back Calm and Relaxed Atmosphere and of course a load of local bands doing their thing in a marquee.....The actual setting for the festival is in a Pub Garden that runs down to the River Thames.
Wittfest is all about Local bands playing live in Long Wittenham which is not far From Abingdon and not far off the A 34 either, is also about raising money for charity and about tasty pub food a variety of musical acts from Folk to Pop to Rock etc, local Beers and so forth......
The Festival acually takes place in the Gardens of a Pub, That Pub is The Plough at Long Wittenham, Nr. Abingdon in Oxon. We will be putting some directions up on this page and very shortly some pictures from a receint Wittfest also on pages accessabe from here.
We hope to have a short list of the beers to be at the festival and also a very rough guide indeed as to which bands might be or should be there!?...?.
This Year 2008 the Festival is on the 4th and 5th and 6th of of July ok.... That is Friday Saturday and Sunday.
The Question on every ones lips, will there be camping in the pub garden itself or will this be a field very near by??><>%^&
